DigiLocker - Simple and Secure Document Wallet - DigiLocker is a key initiative under Digital India, the Government of India's flagship program to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. How to create an account on Digilocker
- First visit digilocker.gov.in or Digitallocker.gov.in.
- Then click login on the right.
- Enter your mobile number and a new page will open here.
- Digilocker will then send the OTP to the mobile number entered.
- Then set your username and password.
- You will now be using Digilocker.
- You can also use Digilocker by downloading it from Google Play Store and Apple App Store
- How to upload documents to Digilocker?
- Log in to Digilocker.
- Go to uploaded documents on the left and click upload.
- Write a quick description of the document

On Digilocker, you save your driver's license etc. along with your 10th, 12th, matriculation mark. Note that you can only upload documents up to a maximum size of 50 MB, and you can also upload documents by creating a folder.
The Central Transport Department has recently instructed the traffic police that the Digilocker archives will also be legitimate for inspection.
