The National Achievement Survey (NAS) is the largest nationally representative student learning program conducted by the Department of Education, Government of India. The NAS provides a standard system for demonstrating the effectiveness of school education. The findings help to compare performance across all spectrums and across the community to obtain the desired developmental direction.
The National Achievement Survey-2021 is scheduled for 12 November 2021. The National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has established a Assessment Framework for assessing learners' achievement in terms of learning outcomes. The survey extends beyond the school card and incorporates background variables to match student performance on different learning outcomes in relation to dynamic contexts. This national level study will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as the Assessment Director for Grade 3, 5, 8 and 10 Government Government learners. schools, Govt. Selection of sample schools is based on UDISE + 2019-20 data. Therefore, States, Regions used to draw NAS 2021 samples are exactly the same as UDISE + 2019-20.
