The "MA Vatsalya" card is mandatory for treatment. After obtaining the income certificate, the beneficiaries can get the "MA Vatsalya" card and for this the following officers have been appointed to give the income certificate to the beneficiaries:

For enrollment of beneficiaries, taluka kiosks and civic center kiosks have been set up at Taluka and City Civic Center Kiosks, where beneficiaries can enroll themselves, split their cards, add / remove family members. Private hospitals, government hospitals and standalone dialysis centers are the same for availing benefits under the scheme. Payments against approved claims are released directly by the state government through RTGS.

To encourage quality services, additional 10% to hospitals accredited by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) by NABH / JCI (Joint Commission International) / ACHS (Australia) or by any other accrediting body. Package change is given quality incentives and above package rates.
Asha is given Rs.100 per BPL family for enrollment of BPL families at their respective kiosks. Enrollment through mobile kiosks, incentive of Rs. 2 / - Asha is given for registration of "MA" and "MA Vatsalya" family.
